  Se respira historia y se puede apreciar la antigüedad del edificio y además cuenta con una muestra museística muy buena.

  Junto à Plaza Constitución, o Cabildo de Montevideo é um museu de visitação essencial para entender a fundação da cidade bem como foi se formando ao longo do tempo. O acervo está um pouco precário precisando de melhores cuidados. Mesmo assim, é possível ter acesso aos principais fatos históricos da capital do Uruguai numa visitação relativamente rápida.

  A public building used as the government house during the colonial times of the Viceroyalty of the River Plate. Actually is used as a museum and houses the Historical Archive of the city.

  Very nice building of the old town hall, with the spirit of the colonial times. The museum itself is pretty small, but gives some idea about the history of Montevideo. Admission free.
