  The appearance isn't the greatest architecture you've ever seen (pretty bland construction), but they have some nice statue work inside.

  This cathedral has several names, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception as well as the Cathedral Metropolitana de Montevideo. It is located across the street from a park. It is the oldest public building in the city. I have been in many beautiful cathedrals in Europe and this would be considered average. Visit. *****
